Cruise holiday check-list

  • Find out how many formal, informal and casual evenings there will be so you can pack accordingly.
  • If possible, pre-book online any shore excursions you really want to do to. The cost will be billed to your shipboard account.
  • Likewise, if possible pre-book a table in the speciality restaurants as they get very booked up very quickly.
  • Fill in the online documents and print out your boarding pass.
  • Find out if gratuities are added to your onboard account. If not, and cash is expected, you’ll need to budget accordingly.
  • Buy your travel insurance at the same time as booking so you are covered in case you need to cancel.
  • Ensure you have any necessary visas.
  • Finally, don’t forget to take your passport!
